Gray Pad to Factory Finish Polish
Is it safe to assume that all balls finish off at 800 Grit(gray pad), then polishing with appropriate polsih to achieve final box results?

Most of the models that have "Sheen" as their final finish have the super high gloss polish applied with their Legends Factory Finish polish (non-abrasive) on top of the 800 grit sanding. Then they have a "hazing" with another light grey (800 grit) nylon pad.
BUT after that last hazing, you can still see the polish underneath. The result is closer to, roughly equivalent to a 1500 grit matte finish, than an 800 grit total sanding. It's actually kind of tricky to arrive at.
Their polished balls (WCR, BRB, Hornet, Buzz, etc) eliminate that final "hazing".

Yes, kind of thought that is what they are trying to achieve when hitting with the 800 after polish, just wasn't sure.
