Solid Strike!
« on: December 26, 2009, 04:40:21 AM »
I received my two Solid Strikes the day before Christmas and they're a mellow purple/silver mix with a mat finish. I placed one back for me for my rainy day collection and I was debating on adding polish! I'm wanting to use it with my nib Extreme Damage, that I'm trying to decide how I want it drilled. I'm debating on drilling a nib Big R Bang that I placed back and using for my light oil ball!

Well, Tony did say that the Solid has an additive to the Sure Strike and the Sure Strike sure needed at least medium oil for me.
Here's his quote:
" ... Big Brother to the great Sure Strike. It has the same make up with one additive that makes it more aggressive earlier than the Sure Strike ..."

I'd compare it to your Sure Strike before adding polish just in case. We've all been fooled by verbal comparisons before. See what it does in real life first.
