Title: Sting vs World Class
Post by: Foppe on March 28, 2009, 03:20:49 AM
Hi guys,

I need a bit advice here:

how does the sting compares to the original world class (the blue one), if drilled the same I'm guessing that the sting go's longer and sharper and is a few boards less overall hook than the world class, is this correct or not?

Due to switching weight (14 -> 15) I'm building a new 'arsenal' (only 4 or 5 balls) & I'm thinking something in terms of:

- spare
- buzz
- (xs power or term. reb maybe)
- sting
- world class

any comments welcome.

grtz

In my opinion the Evolution particle coverstock on the Sting is weaker than the coverstock on the World Class Particle.  Given the same drilling and coverstock preparation the World Class Particle is better suited for medium-heavy to heavy where the Sting is better suited for medium to medium-heavy.  The Sting definately goes longer and has more backend than the WCP.  Both are great balls.
