Big R Bang Info
« on: July 06, 2011, 02:19:24 AM »
Hi

this ball into a lanemaster arsenal is located under a Satisfaxion or not? (with same layout and same finish on the cover).

Any info is appreciated.

Thanks

Yes, the Big R Bang is not near as aggressive as the
Satisfaxion. The Big R Bang is more of a light to light medium oil ball.

Hi Milo

so it can replace my WCR ?

My wcr was the ball between Satisfaxion and Hornet in my arsenal.

Yea, it should fit there nicely. I use my Big R Bang right above my Hornet and it works great. Your WCR should be stronger then the Satisfaxion I would think, depending on the surface of course. The Satisfaxion isn't a heavy oil ball by any means, but the Big R Bang will give you more length as the low RG is higher. I seem to remember that the Satisfaxion has particle coverstock as well.

thanks for the info.

my wcr was a pin axis layout with a very shine finish so it was more aggressive than the hornet but something less than the satisfax.

but WCR it's impossible to find in 14lb so i  decided for a Big r Bang nib and before to drill i want to be sure  that it's a good replace

Yea, those World Class balls are getting very hard to find. I was never a fan of the Particle Pearl, but the Solid and Reactive were some of the best balls ever made. I haven't seen a NIB WCR in a while in any weight, but I recently picked up a 15 lb NIB Particle Solid (Blue). Original box, still had the polish, cleaner, ball cup and bag.

Milo,

Was going to trade you my NIB WCR a while back for something a bit newer but never heard back from you.  I couldn't trade it to you NIB anymore anyway.  Now it is single drill.

I remember that, somehow we lost connection on that one. I think it was for a Black Diamond as I have one sitting NIB that I picked up for some reason. LOL

On the World class series i still use the particle and the Wcpp, very good balls.

Probably the wcr is the only in that series that i had mo.re difficult to use.

I have thrown my WCR a few times but not enough to get a good feel for it yet.  It is a stronger ball than I had expected.  I can't get away from throwing my BP, BPR and Hornet long enough to give the WCR a chance.  My dad has a WCPP that he uses pretty regularly.
