Title: Sure Strike.

Just bought a Sure Strike for an amazing price in the UK. NIB £65.00 off Ebay.

I know thats what you guys pay for them anyway but for me its about £80 cheaper.

Now my question. I have several balls from LM/L, including the Big R Bang being something very similar to what Im expecting the Sure Strike to be.Just had a BWP too. Do I drill it or hang onto it for a while? Whats your thoughts?

I think I should just hang onto it for a while, as I have no real need for it at the moment but I had to buy as it was just sssoooo good a price.

Also... what drill have you found to suit it the most for Med conditions? I like it to go longer with a good backend. Should I stick to the pin above and between fingers with the CG kicked out slightly (LM/L drill sheet recommendations)? Is that strong on the Sure Strike?

I have mine drilled Label Leverage similar to the example in the LM booklet. Ball has length and strong backend reaction. Best results on Med to Med-Heavy oil. Likes clean back ends but will cut through the carry down without being squirty and hits hard from all entry angles. It has become my 3rd game ball when they start to break down I can stay in the same area when others are going through the nose because of the oil pattern breakdown. Could be a 1st game ball if drilled more aggressive.

A friend recently re-drilled his to give him a completely different reaction from the BRB and a normally drilled Sure Strike: he used a Rico drill.

It still goes relatively long, but nowhere near as long as it did with a "normal" drill. It had a mlder backend, which, in this case, still means HUGE, but it was much more controllable AND he had much more area. It still hit like a Legends ball.

If you'd like to try it, it's almost not a risk or an experiment.

I have mine drilled Right handed pin above ring cg kicked out 3/4" with axis in the finger quadrant.

this ball get medium length and a boomerang like backend reaction. I had to hit the cover with 2000 abralon to cut down on the violent backend reaction. Great ball from Lanemasters for the price!!!

May try it with a different drill to what Id normally use. Its definatly given me food for thought.
