World Class Reactive
« on: December 30, 2006, 01:10:06 PM »
Just ordered this one, and it's my first Lane Masters ball since the Yeah Baby! which I didn't really care for.  My Epic Saga cracked and thought the World Class/R would be a good replacement.  Does it have a strong skid/flip chraracteristic, or is it more of a smooth roller?  Is it in the middle of Lane Masters arsenal, or maybe a bit stronger?  Heard so many good things about Legends/Lane Masters had to give them another shot.  Thanks for the help.

In my experience the WCR is very smooth rolling, but the cover is strong!  The shine on the OOB cover helps it get easy length but a nice strong, CONTROLLABLE arc.  It is a great ball: you won't see an unpredictable reaction out of this one.

That depends on how the ball is drilled, what type bowler is throwing it and the conditions it is used on.

For me I am a 15 mph or so bowler with low revs and not a lot of hand as a lot of today's bowlers have. (see my profile)

This ball gets good length for me regardless of the lane condition. I can use it in the wood house I bowl in with medium oil that is oiled to 41' and this ball will turn the corner as long as it has some dry to get it started. In the synthetic house I bowl in with medium oil I have to move more outside with it. With my speed, low revs and not a lot of hand, it doesn't flip, but when it makes it's move, it moves hard and continues thru the pin deck without backing off and this is a 14# ball doing this too.....And when it hits, "IT HITS"

I did had to alter the cover when I got it. I have had to do nothing to it since. I clean it at the lanes with Black Magic Rejuvinator immediately after every bowling session and clean it with Track Clean & Dull every 15 games or so.
