Title: Terminator = Terminator Resurrection

Are these balls the same?  I thought the Terminator Resurrection was going to have a hybrid coverstock, but it appears it is the same as the orignal Terminator.

I pretty much throw most name brands and like them all...

Based on the current review by Joe Cerar in the Jan. 2011 issue of Bowlers' Journal, the Resurrection is different enough to have a very different ball reaction.
 
"This ball's dual particle load fuses with the Edurance P2 coverstock, and is stronger in the mids and downlane. ... Response time off dry is quick and oil traction is above average." 
In that same review, from Galen Gentry of Lane Masters : "We have combined the versatile symmetrical core of the original Terminator with the Endruance P2 cover to give this ball the ability to handle the heavier volumes of oil with an increased back-end motion."
 
Joe continues: "We loved the strong mid-lane presence the Terminator Resurrection gave us on all five of our medium to heavier test patterns. What pleasantly surprised us was the aggressive move we saw at the end of the pattern. ... It was very continuous and pin carry was suberb. Total hook was 3-5 boards stronger than the Sting Widow Maker."

Gotta agree with Galen's comment on the Resurrection.  I still roll the original Terminator, the Widow Maker and the Resurrection.  All 3 are just super on heavier to med oil.  But, each is different in length and finish. Each is drilled label leverage, and I find the Resurrection to turn earlier then the other two, which pushes me farther inside.  The WM gets more length then the others, but still moves me inside to control it.  My original Term is seeing a back seat to the other two.  So, I changed the surface to 1500 polished, and I can move outside.  This has really been helpful on lane oil breakdown or med shots as I can move outside of the others into unused territory.  The 3-ball combo has been great on most heavy patterns for tourneys, and house fresh oil shots.
