Not very familiar with this company. Are there any longevity issues since most of their covers are particle. Just curious.

Their Diamond particle covers are supposed to be among the longest lasting particle covers around.

I have had a masterpiece(reactive,no particles)for over a year over 100 games no track no loss of reaction,a friend of mine has a yeah baby(heavy particle)with over 200 games on it ball hasn't lost any reaction at all.ball doesn't even have a track in it,all he has done is clean it with lanemasters cleaner.
if you are sick of $200 balls that last 50 games and die give legends/lansmasters a try.

Long-lasting that they may be, they aren't actually made out of diamond. Were the particles actual diamond, they would fail the new hardness requirements from the USBC. This was brought up when the rule was being discussed (but tended to get swamped by the CG-in-palm rule discussion).

Their particles are supposed to be industrial diamond dust.

USBC test? Anything passes that they want to pass. Get real!

I think that would only apply if the ball were called The 900 or the Mushtare.

I have not had any longevity issues with L/LM balls. This really is a fine manufacturer. I also like the fact that their coverstocks don't rely upon oil absorption for hook as much as other manufacturers; this keeps the hook more consistent for a longer period of time.

I've seen a dying problem where I bowl with one Yeah Baby and two New Standards plus a third New Standard had a chunk about the size of a baseball shatter and leave pieces on the lane and a hole in the ball. However, L/LM did replace this ball. But then again, I've seen dying balls in other manufacturers balls also, so I don't think you need to be concerned about L/LM balls not lasting as I am sure they will last as long as their competitors balls.
