Because they have almost the exact same core specs (same shape, very slightly different numebrs) and
- because the coverstock are fairly well differentiated, and
- because althought my Hornet and Buzz are drilled slightly differently, they seem to be set apart by enough, to my eye,
I believe drilling these 3 balls similarly should provide 3 different enough reactions and handle differing amounts of oil, such that they overlap closely to the right amount for them to complement one another properly.
In English, YES!
However, I remain wary of putting the pin above the level of the bridge on all 3 balls. But that's just me.
FYI I have seen that the Sting is flippier than the Hornet or the Buzz by a fair margin. (I have not yet thrown a Sting. Keep that in mind.)
