The other day I noticed Buddies has the Ultimate Power available April 15. I was just wondering what to expect from this release. Any details would be appreciated

That si cool that they went cover to core with this piece, I reall like my XS power and will most likely pick this one up. Tony said they went full cover to core to create a little different ball reaction If I remember right, this line is suppose to have filler in it but this one will not have that. I am assuming this ball will be a strong midlane pearl while still producing a strong pop on the back.

Whats funny about my XS power though is the ball is suppose to be a smooth arc ball, but mine is the most skid flip ball i have ever had, and i mean when it turns it turns harder than anything I have thrown easily. It is to strong on the backend with polish one the ball.

Diff    0.41
Flare   5"

The Lane Masters Web Site states:
Rg   2.52
Diff   0.31
Flare   4.5"

The Lane Masters Product Catalog states:
Rg       2.465
Diff     0.47
Flare    6.5"

Tony, which are the actual numbers on the soon to be released UP?

Galen told me Friday that it's a modified Dynamic Power core with no filler material. It was to have the filler, but it didn't work out that way. The numbers will be finalized when they get them back from USBC! The RG isn't as low as the Dynamic Power so the 2.49 will be close!

I want to know the diff number as well. One being .31 and the other being .41, that is a significant difference in flare potential

2.49 sounds about right for the RG

It doesn't sound right at all. I don't know of any ball with no filler that had an RG that low before, ever. I'm not just talking Lanemasters. Visionary, Dyno-Thane, Storm, Roto-Grip, AZO and Legends. I might not have remembered, but ...
Balls with no filler usually start around 2.55 or thereabouts.

I feel like it is going to be in the 2.5 give or take a little. The XS/Dynamic power line is based around a lower RG core than they normally use.

If the Lanemasters web site is correct with:
Rg 2.52
Diff 0.31
Flare 4.5"

That makes more sense as a possibility. The RG Diff still sounds low. Hopefully Tony Martin will verify soon.

The original numbers were in 3 piece construction. We converted this ball to a two piece and you can tell the difference. When you make a 2 piece ball the RG and Diff are going to change. The weight block still has it's characteristics.

 Does anyone remember a ball that made a CRACK when it hit the pins? This ball has POP when it hits and messengers were abundant in testing. Don't let the numbers fool you too much. Great Midlane read extending through the pattern and aggressive roll through the pocket. Very Very controllable!!!

I think you will all be very surprised by this ball.

I think we understand most of that.
Are the numbers on the website correct for the ball submitted to the USBC for approval?

What's the basic ball reaction?
and
How much oil is it intended to handle, for the average revs, average ball speed bowlers?

and, yes, both my 6 year old New Standard and Yeah Baby still give that "Crack" when they hit the pocket.

We have not gotten the final numbers from USBC but we are very close to what they are going to send back I'm sure.

This is designed for control and power on Medium to Medium Dry conditions.  conditions. Can also be used by players who go straight up and in. They can get it through the fronts with good consistency and strong backends. The ball does store energy very well.

I recall Lanemasters using only the official numbers as measured by the USBC.

What were the final numbers from USBC pertaining to the Ultimate Power?  I have one being delivered via UPS this coming thursday from buddiesproshop.com.
