Guys - I would appreciate the advice of those in the know. In the UK I can still get hold of a NIB 15lb Yeah Baby, a Big Kahuna, a Kong, a New Standard, an AP & AP2, a Guaranteed & a Terminator R (but unfortunately not a Sting (not for the want of trying), or a Buzz or a NS2). I currently have a 15lb Masterpiece, a Big Bang, a WCPP and a Dynamic Power.  Cut to the chase - should I cut the apron strings and look to the future or maybe hang on in there with the old timers (like myself) on the basis that the babies will be around for some time? Not that I can afford all of the above but a Yeah Baby & maybe one other might bring some smiles into my life. Having said that I've never thrown one of the two existing Black Pearls so maybe I'm missing a revelation there as well?  The feedback on the Black Diamond looks good, however, so perhaps I should just forget the past?

If I had the cash, I'd have you buy all those and send them to me.  But to be more serious - like charlest said there are advantages to both the old and new balls.  No, those older pieces will not be around for very much longer (at least NIB) but the newer pieces are very worthy "children".

Thank you guys for your words of wisdom.  I think that I will endeavour to get one of the Yeah Baby's & call it quits on the old lineage.  My wife is already complaining about the number of bowling balls around the house (& she hasn't looked inside my car boot recently). However I can imagine that on my deathbed I might pose the question, "but how would've the Big Kahuna reacted?"

Dammit, now you've got me thinking again......
