Title: WCPP v Sting
Post by: htotheizzo3561 on November 27, 2007, 12:51:14 AM
Wanting to try legends/lanemaster for the first time.

looking at the raw numbers all I can deduce is that the sting should roll earlier. but the wcpp is stronger overall?

What do you guys find?

The WCPP is not stronger than the Sting.  It is more like the Black Pearl Particle.

If you want something that is strong and controllable the Sting is a great ball.

i've had two particle pearls, the golden nugget and sheer havoc.  Is there any comparison to these?

Thanks

Lanemasters covers are very strong; I would think the WCPP would be significantly stronger than the Golden Nugget and the Sheer Havoc (which I've heard is a solid particle, though I don't think that's true).  The GN is supposed to be for medium to medium-light and the SH is more a medium piece.

Brown delivered my WCPP.  Nice looking ball.  Looks very polished.
Let you know how it rolls tomorrow.

Got my WCPP drilled. 3.5 inch Pin below and between the fingers.  CG kicked out 2 inches with weight hole.  Ball is very easy to control and is very forgiving. Get it left and it comes back. Tug it and it holds.  Carry down is no problem.  Manages the lane from 40 to 60 feet better than any ball I have rolled.  Angular at the break but not overly snappy.  I actually like this ball in the out of box finish. A definate keeper.

Laybzz74,

I shot 300 with my XS Power after getting use to it for about a month.
I had the front 9 with my WCPP third game every rolling it.
It gives me a shot on the "whole" left side.
