Indeed! Very hard to change those particles, but a great ball at any resin grit level or polished. Strong, almost flippy backend!!

Does anyone know what core or type is used in the Big Kahuna?  It's look is unique to any of the other core shapes in the current or retired balls.

This old site gives a view of the core shapes.

I don't think they classified their cores as such. I looked at the old cores

and it seems like it was unique. However in appearance and shape it was similar to light bulb cores in the Columbia Messenger and STorm Street Rod series.

The Big Kahuna is a "Particle Pearl" and not a "solid Particle"?

Thanks Darren!

Next question.

Is the New Standard a solid particle or particle pearl?
I'm looking to get one to go under my BK.
In your expert opinion, how well do they compliment each other?

Thanks
Robo

Robo,

If you look at both the BK and the NS, they're actually pearl/solid combinations with particles in both. Leastwise, mine are.
