Unless you've changed the surface OR you have very high ball speed, the BB is an oiler. If you play the Cheetah pattern the traditional way, on the dry, out by the 3/4 board, I can hardly imagine using a ball like the BB,
no matter how high you put the pin, on the Cheetah pattern, UNLESS you have high ball speed or low revs.
The low RG differential, and, thus, the lower flare, allows it to conserve energy somewhat on oilier lanes. That results in a somewhat larger backend than many oilers. As previously stated, a lot of the result has to do with how you throw the ball, any changes you made to the surface and how you play the lanes.
