Has anybody picked one up yet?  Also, what other ball, can this ball be compared to?

I have one on order, I heard through the grapvine the official release date is the 9th.  From the lanemaster site, this ball and the Black Pearl are going to be fairly close.

That's what I heard.  I don't believe this ball will handle heavy oil, due to it's coverstock being pearl.  I just picked up a Sting a few weeks back and was considering something else, but not sure what.

I have watched one of these for about 4 months from a guy that knows people at the factory, it revs up pretty good handles more oil and is about 4-5 boards stronger than the WCR.

The bowler used this as game 1 ball every week, by game 3 he looped the lane with it, not his style but it did hook pretty good with the heads blown out.

How did he get one four months ago, they weren't released until this week?
