« on: April 16, 2009, 07:02:49 AM »
i have had my ball for 2 months.i noticed a little flat spot by the ring finger to the right about the size of a quarter with looks like stress cracks starting and branching to the top. i know the ball driller will probaly say this is common.or try to fix it or it will be fine.i never have seen this on any of my bowling balls.i have 16 now and never happened before.i have 4 other lane master legends .i am shocked that this happened at 2 months.ball defect or what

Did it have a flat spot when it was drilled?
If not, maybe it got chipped when it hit something at the backstop? Balls often hit nails and pieces and get cracked that way. I've had two recent polyester balls crack right around the bridge when it hit something sticking out back there. Once a piece chipped off, it is probably easy for stress fractures to follow.
