Xtreme Damage question - for Tony
« on: August 22, 2009, 06:02:21 AM »
Was looking at the temp website, saw the Xtreme Damage pics.  Is that the same core as the Yeah Baby/Masterpiece, or the slightly modified core that was in the Sure Strike/Counterstrike series?  (Or is it too soon to be asking those questions since there's always the possibility of tweaking up until USBC certification and production?)  If it is the same as the YB/Masterpiece - I want to go ahead and put my name on 3 of them.
The Gathering 2014 is near.  July 25-27 in Winston Salem, NC @ Creekside lanes.

Why is it, when looking at pictures of the Yeah Baby core, it looks different than the Impact core. Don't get me wrong, I love my Sure Strike which uses the Impact core, but visually there appears to be a difference. I never had a Yeah Baby, (apparently one of the best balls they made), but now I am very interested in The Xtreme Damage. I'm sure I will wind up getting the Xtreme anyway, just asking if anybody else notices a difference in the 2 cores.
