Well, I got my Yeah Baby today from raiderh20boy(excellent seller) and even though this is my second LM ball this was my first time actually getting the box too.
So right now the ball is at my driller and so I'll be able to throw it tonight in league
But back to what I was saying in the first paragraph...I can't believe what I got in the box, of course for all of you that already know its not a shock but to me finding all of those neat things was quite a treat.
Heres what I got extra (meaning besides the ball)
1) LaneMasters DVD (very cool)
2) two scotchbrite pads
3) a LaneMasters drill-instruction fold-out
4) bottle of cleaner
5) bottle of polish
6) a plastic ball stand for when doing ball maintenance (very cool)
Man-o-man am I ever stoked (<<theres a word for you youngsters) another thing about LaneMasters is their website, very, very well done, to bad other bowling mavufactures dont follow suit...anyway folks I thought I would report back in with my new Yeah Baby.
Later, Jake

You should have gotten one of the cloth buff-a-balls with it, too. I love Legends equipment and all the goodies they come with.

Yup, I forgot about that. I left it in the car after dropping the ball off at my driller. They're called a "see-saw".

I see on Buddies website that the Legends balls and LaneMasters balls are at the same price point $152.50 which doesn't make sense since the LM balls don't include the extras.
In reality, for me the cleaner and polish are what I'd pay extra for and very little, Scotch Brite, etc. are worth little to me..but that's just me. For the uninitiated it might mean more.

I like the cleaner and polish, but I really like the see-saw and ball cup too. Scotchbrite pads, meh. I can get 6x9 sheets of them at the paint store for about three dollars a piece. I keep all my balls in the see-saws, it protects them in my bag.

They're cleaner is the best, it takes off so much crap. Amazing just how black the cleaning rags get from lane oil and dirt.

I agree that their cleaner is awesome, but man, it reeks! Works great, though. Some of the best prices I've found on LM stuff are at bowlersdream.com - plus they have great service and fast shipping.

Doesn't quite work out for me at Bowlers Dream.
Price for a World Class Reactive was $169. Buddies - $152.
I guess if you're local and the shipping charges are less. They must be a West Coast outfit as shipping for me was $24.

Bowling.com has good prices and free shipping(in the USA)

I am new to Lanemasters and really starting to be sold from my research. From this post, would I expect these extras with all their equipment? Or just special releases? Seems interesting.
-
Extras come with Legends ball ONLY.
LaneMasters balls do not come with extras unless you can find some that are before the change.
Still don't know why Buddies prices the high end LM balls <without the extras> the same as Legends balls <with the extras>.
