Added the HERITAGE to my ever growing Lord Field Arsenal.  The HERITAGE is an interesting piece. It is a very aggressive ball when it encounters dry, not a skip/flip but a very hard arc with above average drive through the pindeck. It covers a few boards less than my NASTY, JUDGEMENTS and EXOUDS IRON and is currently my 4th biggest ball, but is best when used on a true medium pattern.  My THS is Brunswick Anvilanes, they us a modified USBC White with OB outside 5 board.  They oil with a Kegel machine oiling out to 28' and bufing to 40' using Duramax Synergy oil by Tech-Line and Twister Pins. 

On this pattern I have been able to use pretty much all my equipment, with the exception of my least aggressive stuff.  I have been able to play up 12-13 board at the arrows out to usually 8-10 at the 40' lane marker.  On this pattern I have been able to miss a touch wide (5-6 board) but have a tendency to leave weak ten pins this way.  If pulled into 11-12, then I still leave the occasional weak ten pin or 2-6 or bucket as the ball obviously is sliding more and cannot provide enough traction to carry when missed this way.  My Heritage is finished with 4000 abralon and a ton of polish to get bal down lane for a different look than some others in my arsenal.

Overall, the HERITAGE is a very nice piece of equipment and is a ball I will keep for along time as it can probably be a ball that is very usable anywhere.

Changed the surface on this ball to 2000 Abralon and drilled it with the pin down below the ring finger and cg kicked out about 1.5 inches with weight hole. I can stand a good 2-3 boards further left on any shot with this ball. The read this ball gets on the lanes is amazing. It continues through the pocket extremely hard and carries light mixers well. This is my ball to go to when the lanes are soaked. Haven’t thrown it a whole lot yet because I tend to bowl on shorter patterns, but excited to get to use this on sport patters like dead mans curve.

I originally drilled this ball pin below the bridge with a layout of 55deg x 5" x 75deg with no weight hole cause of the cg shifted slightly left and the ball was static legal. The ball didn't react bad, but it didn't have the wow factor and if the lanes weren't broken down I didn't have a great reaction that I liked. I plugged and redrilled cause I saw how everybody loved this ball and with the Korrupt coming out I wanted to experiment. I made a slight adjustment and went with the same pin below the bridge and 35deg x 5" x 75deg layout with a weight hole 2-1/2" below my pap on the val. I finished it Monday evening just before our 50 Plus Senior league and I was only able to roll 3 shadow balls. I shoot 204, 279, 249= 732 series. I had the last 5 strikes the first game after leaving two 4-9 splits and three 10 pins in the first 6 frames. Once I got comfortable with the ball and where to play the lanes, I didn't miss the pocket. I didn't use it the first game in our Wednesday night trios league in a different house in a different city. I had a clean 195 with a different ball and couldn't get a double, but hit the pocket. I changed to the Heritage and shoot 258, 248 for a 701 series. Back at our center on Thursday for the last night of our Thursday Trios I shoot 300 the third game. I'm amazed at how much the slight drill angle made in the roll of the Heritage!! Now I'm ready for the Korrupt!!!

Likes: Very smooth with strong controlled arc at the breakpoint

Dislikes: I didn't try the layout originally and had to plug and redrill!!
