Has Anyone Thrown Lord Field @ USBC Nationals?
« on: May 14, 2013, 08:05:49 PM »
Wondering if anyone has thrown LF product at nationals and what has been working. So far I am taking the Judgment, Korrupt and the Big Hurt. Going to add to more balls before I go in June.

Thanks!

I stated in an earlier post. I use my Judgement @1000 abralon lighty scuffed, pin above bridge up the 4 board. 645-551-606= 1802. Did well in brackets too.

I had good success with the Torment and Exodus Iron at last years Nationals in Baton Rouge, not bowling Reno this or next year as I despise Reno.

yup. Heritage @ 1k...Big hurt @2k and korrupt @ 2k. shot 277 with the Korrupt. I was spot on with ball choices just did not execute as well as I needed with my deliveries.

cant wait till next year!

Hey everyone, I'm on LF Pro Shop staff and these were my results.

Singles: 614 - Big Hurt (Played 10-13 at the arrows for the whole set)

Doubles: 486 - I tried almost everything in both bags lol (Judgement, Higgs, Big Hurt, Jacked, Korrupt & Exodus Pearl) - I was all over the place and just not making good shots.

Singles: 735 - I had an epiphany. Moved in with the Exodus Pearl (which I experimented with in the last 3 frames of the 3rd game in doubles) and played in my comfort zone (18 at the arrows to about 8 at the breakpoint) - 279-235-221=735 - My best set at the Nationals. Great showing for Lord Field. Happy with that set as I am sitting at tied for 78th in singles. Hopefully that will be a nice check ;)

I bowled this weekend and had a good look for 9 games.

I used the Big Hurt during team event and shot 650. Had a great look but left a lot of pins out there.

Used the Off the Chain during doubles for 603. Missed to many spares this set. Should have been a lot higher.

Used the Off the Chain the first game of singles then switched to the Judgement for games 2 & 3 cause it is calmer on the back. Shot 587. Should have stayed with the OTC and moved deeper.

1840 all events is sadly the best I have ever scored at the open championships and I made money in brackets so I'm satisfied this year. My Lord Field equipment hit great and definitely matched up to both patterns.

Deven, nice shooting buddy!

Thanks. Same to you. Wish I had the pearl to throw during singles. I know that had to match up well.
