Lord Field Exodus Iron Vid
« on: January 11, 2013, 03:54:42 AM »
Hey guys, here is a vid of the Lord Field Exodus Iron. I just got this ball on Tuesday night and wanted to play with my camera so I made a vid with the help of LDOG. I really like the ball as it seems to be smooth of the spot, contollable and very versatile. I am really looking forward to getting more games on this ball. So far after 2 nights of use the Iron has really impressed me.

Vid was shot on a used THS. We compiled a bunch of shots and this is my first attempt at video editing. Any feed back is appreciated.

I like the movement and the layout is very close to my standard.  I was wondering if the ball landed sooner on the lanes if the ball would react early or loss revs before the move and miss right.  You have pretty accurate launch distance but ball placement varied left and right in a 4 board area nothing to cry about for me.  It did seem you adjusted to the left near the end of the video or it's the camera angle that's throwing me off. I can't accurately toss that far forward so I have to put the ball on lane at the foul line.  I also like the 2 piece ball and I'm sure guys I bowl with will enjoy seeing a ball made this way, too. thanks for the vid

Yes I did move left at the end or the video. I just got the ball and was playing all over the lane to see the balls strengths and weaknesses. So I was not targeting at all or really playing any sort of real line. Basically hitting an area down lane to see how this ball played . The lanes were a bit on the dry side for this ball. But i was able to make it work and hold the pocket. Im going to make another vid of this ball later on if I can get it on a pattern or a heavier THS.

My main goal was to learn how to use my camera as well as work with my video editing software. Still have a long way to go.

But overall I do like this ball a lot. Need to play with the Iron some more but it will have a permanent spot in my bag!

Thanks for your feedback too. always appreciated.

Yikes! Best editing software is with macs, of course I have Mac everything from the desktops, laptop iPad iPhone you get the picture, I use Final Cut Pro, same thing most use in Hollywood and to make music videos, works wonders

I will not dispute Macs' editing capabilities or fimal cut. however, the movie maker program I have gets my point across well enough for my needs. Im not trying to compete with James Cameron or George Lucas with my little bowling vids. lol

This an increadable ball! I've had mine for 2 weeks and have shot only 1 game under 237! Might have to get another one!

Congrats moore! That ball rolls so heavy I'm having a hard time carrying the 8 and 9 pin.  ;D but I'll take it. The Iron is just a freaking beast!
