The Judgement is a great piece for mediums, in saying that need to know about your game to totally understand if it's right for this shot you have described.

Are you saying you're bowling on a reverse block or are the lanes being played mostly in the middle so the oil goes faster there than on the outside?

to be honest im not real sure what these lanes are like...this is only my 2nd week...i was just told it was dry down the middle and wet outside so i had to play really tight to the pocket

Based on the limited info, all I can really tell you for sure is that the Judgement is a great benchmark ball, and it has rolled great for me on a variety of patterns. It's also the ball that, so far, has gotten the most compliments from other bowlers. However, for me, it still rolls good on dry, but its more of a medium to medium-heavy kind of ball. Depending on your definition of "medium" and depending on your game, it might be stronger than what you're looking for. If you hook the ball quite a bit, or if your version of "medium" is a little closer to dry than what other folks might call medium... then you may also want to consider an Off The Chain.

I hope this helps. Layouts can also make a difference. If you want more info, share some more about your game... and also maybe some other stuff like how other folks are playing them and with what balls, or what success/challenges you've had so far and with what balls.

Individual results may vary. Best of luck. :-)

I'd have to eco what polarmike said regarding needing more info.

From the two weeks you have been there, what balls and lines have you tried? What has and hasn't worked? If there's anyone that throws the ball similar to you, where have they been playing and what have they been using?

I would try to focus less on what someone said they lanes are supposed to be like and more on what you're seeing from people actually bowling on it.

If you can give us some more info to go on, i'm sure plenty of people will offer recommendations, but without knowing more about you and the lanes, any recommendation is a shot in the dark.

balls that didn't work...dv8 brutal nightmare and storm sync.....ball that did work...motiv venom toxin...i just need a tad more oomph to get it back to the pocket

lines i have tried...i tried paying right down the middle at first and it always goes brooklyn at the last second, so i moved 2 boards to the right next and tried to go down and in and then it didn't quite come back in enough....so then moved 2 boards to the left and threw it out to the right trying to to get it to come back in and that has worked the best with the toxin coming back about 99% im just a smidge off

So it sounds like you either need a ball that is slightly stronger than the Venom Toxin, but laid out similarly... or a ball that is very similar to the Venom Toxin but laid out to be a little stronger.

I think the Judgement is stronger than the Venom Toxin. Based on what I've seen from both, the Judgement should get into a roll sooner (Two guys I bowl league with throw Venom Toxins. One is a Motiv Staffer).

They're both hybrids, but the RG is slightly lower on the Judgement (roll slightly sooner), the differential is a lot higher and will flare more (generally more hook on the back end), and IMO the cover on the Judgement is stronger.

So, kinda shooting from the hip, but based on what I've read so far, it seems like the Judgement would be a great ball to switch to. I would just suggest maybe a "longer" layout, since I think a similar layouts between the two balls would get the Judgement into a roll too early on the conditions you described. Opinions vary on layouts depending on who you talk to, but I could suggest a pin-up / CG-out-a-little.

Hope this helps.
