Did you say go to the website and register in order to see the price?  I have never heard of any company making you register in order to even see the price.

Wait until those fools over at Amazon, Walmart, Home Depot, Best Buy, or any other online retail store get wind of this brilliant trade secret. There will be no stopping them then.

I'm sure you have been given better rates from distributors that have special business accounts. The world works this way.

That's the excuse your using for not allowing a regular consumer to see the actual price?  Business accounts?  Average house bowler is curious about buying one of these great LF balls but he can't see the price because he has to register for an account first. And your saying its because of business accounts from distributors?  The good news is though if I do register and buy one I then become a LF staffer like the rest of you.

Have to run now my refrigerator is going out and I am working on becoming either a Lowes or Home Depot staff member.

Man, how many of you suckers signed that LF Amateur contract?  Nothing like sub 200 average bowlers signing up with someone just so they can tell people that "they are on staff."

Those who can't bowl, bowl with two hands.

If you are interested buddiesproshop.com offers Lord Field and Lane Masters products for the consumer.  Heading to lfbowling.com and checking prices or ordering does not require registering.   For the holidays there is a sales package offered that doesn't require a person becoming a staff member.  I guess it requires registering to see this holiday package.

Again networked part of life require a registration or membership even for free perks. As in this case there is no cost to register.  Merry Christmas Everyone

Maybe not Walmart, but what about Sams/Costco?  Where you have to pay a membership to see the price?

Or talking free, like ours, what about most grocery stores with the discount card you have to register for? Amazon has the option of registering, or buying as a "guest" (just like our site), but Amazon tells you about all the perks and benefits you get if you register, including special deals that they only email to registered users.

Calm down. No one is trying to get your information on the sly. You don't have to give your social and mothers maiden name. You're not going to end up on mailing lists and credit checks, etc...

I cant speak for all of the guys (and gals), but I didn't sign up "just so I can tell people I'm on staff". I signed up because the equipment matches up very well for me, and I think its fair that in exchange for certain perks, that I go around and speak about the company in good faith and try to promote the product.

But I can speak for for most of us in saying that a lot of us average over 200. Some 220+, a few 230+. AND, there are some that don't average over 200. One of the reasons I like this company is that we're not just about the scratch bowler. We feel we can be a good fit for anyone's game, even if they don't average 200+... and our staff membership proves that.

So really, it would be appreciated if you didn't resort to name calling and calling us "suckers". I'd be happy to tell you why I associate with these folks, and it has nothing to do with me being a "sucker" (not to say I'm not one, this just has nothing to do with it).

IMO this is smart marketing by Lord Field, there's a MUCH higher percentage of sub 200 bowlers out there compared to the scratch bowler....If that weren't the case they would be HOARDS of scratch leagues out there, which we ALL know there are not....

And being on their staff isn't like being on another companies staff.  Most of them do NOT receive free stuff, they just get discounted rates.

why bash when you haven't even looked at what it takes to register? To register on their site costs nothing and it allows you to buy balls at a discounted rate. Registering on their site does not mean you become a staffer.

No you can see the prices without registering it just gives you a cheaper price when you register look at prices before your registration then after. Don't jump the gun in order to get a deal on two ball packages have to register. If would have went to the site would have seen that, but you didn't. Trust me will like the prices when you register.
