What is your go to Lord Field Ball?
« on: March 05, 2013, 08:44:06 AM »
What is your go to Lord Field Ball and what is the layout on the ball? I will start us off. My favorite go to Lord Field Ball is the Exodus Pearl and I have mine laid out 75 x 4.5 x 45.

depends on the house

house 1  exodus solid, then my judgement
house 2 nasty, iron, judgement

but I've gotten the korrupt drilled and it might very well be first out at both places, will know this week for sure

Well for now it is the Exodus Iron. But I just got my Korrupt and will start using that this week. So it may be changing. I have the Judgement also which rolls very good too. I like them all.

Judgement. Drilled 60x41/2x75. Rolls true threw the heads with controllable backends

judgement is first out of the bag in both of my houses, just because I know how it is going to react. Funny in both houses I can play the same line and get pretty close to the same reaction.  Judgement is my favorite piece

Depends, in my normal house(synthetic), I like my 2 Judgements and Heritage.  In this older wood house I've been practicing in alot lately for an upcoming tournament, I have been having success with my Exodus Solid and Jacked.

Judgement #1: 45* X 4" X 30*
Judgement #2: RICO
Exodus Solid: 65* X 4" X 50*
Jacked: 40* X 4" X 25*

For the past year, I have always counted on my Higgs Force with a simple label layout and at 800 grit. 1st ball out of the bag!

Ok, so the Judgement is my go to ball now. Threw a 300 with it two weeks ago and have thrown nothing but good games with it for a few weeks now. Great ball!

After changing the surface on my Korrupt to 3000 it is now my go to ball now. Very versatile for me. After I change the cover on my Judgement to 4000 this weekend I may have a different answer.

When there's enough oil, the Exodus Solid is  a great benchmark ball, even polished and handles true medium oil. Unfortunately, I haven't seen true medium oil since last season. It bothers me not to be able to use this great ball.
