I finally got a chance to put a few games on my OTC. Had a fairly clean THS with a decent volume of oil and got to compare directly to my Judgement with the same layout. Compared to the standard league shot, this seemed to be 2-3 feet shorter and the backends were a touch cleaner. On this specific pattern, I was surprised at how much area the OTC created. I was able to keep the ball inside 10, hold the oil and still have enough on the back to kick out the corners or open the lane up without bleeding too much energy to make the turn downlane and still carry the corner. With my high track and low axis tilt, it's rare that I've come accross a ball that lets me open the lane up this much, strictly due to my release. I would compare the reaction to my 508a on steroids (NOTE: I have not thrown these two side by side yet, but will do so before posting a full review) with similar length (508a being a touch longer but also with a slightly longer Pin to PAP) and backend motion. I see the OTC being a step down from the judgement on longer patterns (pushed a good 2-3 feet longer) and an excellent option for momving inside the track area on shorter patterns where the Judgement's higher particle load burns too much energy to make the corner.
Overall I'm very impressed with this ball and forsee it being a staple along with Judgement for the fall.
