Like all companies, not every ball is a gem for everyone.
That said, they do have a lot of awfully good balls. I was happy to start with their basic, solid resin with a middle of the road core strength, in the solid Exodus.

According to Tony Martin, their USA rep and ball designer, the Exodus is the most typical ball. I like it for true medium oil. It has a hard arc, not a skid flip that handles medium oil very well. I've found the covers easy to modify for many surface textures. Drillings change the ball reaction as needed or desired. The Exodus series happens to have a 2 piece core/surface construction with no filler. This  seems to provide a scoatch more hitting power than average.

The Exodus Pearl is for medium-light oil and the (particle) Exodus Iron is for medium-heavy oil, both with better than average hitting power.

Charlest, have you seen anyone rolling a blue Torment? I think I want one, but the Lordfield stuff hasn't surfaced around here yet.

Not yet. In fact, haven't seen anyone throw a LF except me, and right now, I'm seeing too little oil for my Exodus. Kind of annoying as I used it for most of the 2nd part of 2011-12 season in this same league.

I think the Torment is designed to fit between the Exodus Pearl and the solid due to its 4000 grit matte finish. It's also a good fit to cure over/under for speed dominant people or to handle side to side wet/dry conditions.

No, sorry. I only have the Exodus Solid. A friend has the Iron and with his greater ball speed, he likes that one as much as I like the solid.

The 2 that have my interest right now are the Pin Hacker and the Nasty, but both are slightly stronger than I need at the moment. (The Pin Hacker, though, is a 2 piece ball like the Exoduses and some of the LaneMaster balls I really liked.

I have both the solid and pearl exodus as well as the torment and The Jacked

The torment is a typical mid performance ball, cover strong core weakish, I drilled decently agressive, and tried several surface finishes, finally settled on 4k abralon with polish (ulitmate black magic, hit hard on the spinner) for me this is a nice control piece love it on sport/shorter patterns, I lent it to a guy in league the other night who emptied his bag (nexus solid, alpha max, couple of older peices, struggled to 155, came down and asked if he could throw the ball he practiced with last week, our spans are very close with my thumb a tick bigger , he proceeded to go 246-257 for the back two, needless to say the ball is no longer in my bag, with a good midlane type drilling, the natural length of the ball sets up well and finishes hard, the two peice balls are very hard hitters but this torment and the jacked (three piece) tear up the pocket as well.  I will work  deal with him and pick up another in the near future.  on shots I am forced to play outside this ball has the motor to get back down lane most evenings, rolls very true

Charlest and Triggerman, thanks for the input. I have a handful of Lanemasters balls and will bowl with them until they fall apart. Having seen the arrival Of Lordfield, I now may be able to get some of the ball reactions available only by high RG, two piece balls. However, after really liking a Sure Strike I found used. the Torment has certainly gotten my attention. Having read Trigg's info, my guess as to where it would fit seems to be close. Thanks again.

If you get a chance, check my profile I have the following Lord Field balls drilled:
Exodus Pearl
Exodus Pearl (Rico)
Exodus Solid
Exodus Iron
Torment
Pin Hacker
Jacked(Pin above MF)
Jacked(Stacked)

I have also posted reiviews of all of the above listed balls on here and other sites.
By the way, the Torment is a must have ball and is excellent on smoothing out the lanes reaction (I think).  I have been using my Torment alot lately as my home center has cut back on oil.  I have the cover at 4000 abralon with a ton of Lane Masters Extended Length polish to keep it as straight as possible for as long as possible.

If you look in the Lord Field Review section it currently shows no reviews but I have at least one each for each ball listed except the Higgs Force which I did not get as I would have no use for such a strong ball.  I have messaged the ballreviews staff about the trouble with the Lord Field review forum but never got a response or fix.
