I drilled my Korrupt 5" pin to PAP which put the pin above the fingers with the CG slightly left of the thumb. I left the ball in OOB condition.
I've gotten a chance to get a handful of games on the ball in two different houses.
The Korrupt is definitely a strong piece. With that said, the ball is very controllable and consistent. The Korrupt shines when there is a good amount of head oil. As the head oil begins to burn up, the ball begins to labor in the front part of the lane and began leaving flat corner pins. Whereas other balls will jump and give you that obvious kick to put them away, with the Korrupt I remained in the pocket and it will take a closer eye to determine if you've made a bad shot, it's time to move, or time to put the ball away. This is one of the qualities that also struck me in the Judgement.
Back to the Korrupt, I finally got a chance to throw a full set with it this past Monday night. The house put down more volume than usual and the Judgement wasn't making it back playing 10-5. I pulled out the Korrupt, in practice and got a strong reaction playing 10-5. Ended up starting out playing up 10 to hug the oil and slowly migrated right with my feet as the night wore on, ending up playing 11-6.
When I was able to keep the line tight, the Korrupt finished hard through the pins. Moving inside, as long as there is sufficient head oil, the ball has plenty to make it back from outside. I wouldn't characterize the Korrupt as skid/flip but it is definitely a hard arc on the backend.
The key to this ball is definitely having head oil (in oob condition). With adequate head oil, the Korrupt gets surprising length when compared to it's box condition.
More to come as I get some more games on the ball.
