from the looks of it $3

"Leading up to the USBC Convention, the USBC Board asked associations to support the dues cap increase amendment and set a schedule if it was approved – national dues will not increase for the 2016-2017 season, national dues would increase to $13 for the 2017-2018 season and national dues would not increase again before the 2022-2023 season"

He should be hoping it is going up $20 since he doesn't bowl any sanctioned leagues anyways.  :)

So let me get this straight, there are fewer members and the USBC provides fewer services but they have to charge more? In the real world that's a recipe for failure, but you keep defending mediocrity, it's noble work you're doing.

In the real world, it's called inflation. I guess you're happy to go year-after-year without any kind of raise, but most people/organizations aren't. BTW, I'm not sure what they've cut back on other than trinkets of questionable value.

In any case, you validated my original post. Thx.

Maybe you forgot, they just got a raise with lifetime honor score awards and now local associations are responsible for all other awards. But then again, in the real world losing 90% of your customers means you should probably stop doing the same thing expecting a different result. But hey, as long as it benefits you personally it must be awesome.

It does benefit me personally, and it is awesome!  ;D

I've got the USBC Open Championships, the USBC Super Senior Classic, and the USBC Senior Masters lined up between now and the end of June. All in Las Vegas. It doesn't get much better. Unless you'd rather be doing unsactioned pot games.  ::)

To each his own....

Actually, I am. I got my daughter and her new husband to do a summer league with me (both non-bowlers). They both had such a good time, that they recruited a few of their friends to do a regular 35 week league. When Bowlmor bought the house where their league was, and began to push them out, I found a slot for their league in another house to keep the whole situation from falling apart. I'm fairly certain most of the bowlers would have otherwise quit and stopped sanctioned bowling all together.

So yes, thank you. I'd like to think I've done my small part. It actually feels good to do something instead of just complain.

It's noble work you're doing...and yet bowling declines every year because they cater to the one percent like yourself that would show up to bowl no matter what.

OK you two.  You both made your point, so let's move on.  Thanks.

There you go trying to censor discussion again. You can move on in any direction you'd like. I'll do the same. Thanks.
