People can ask anything, doesn't mean they will get it.

I like that it says MIGHT be the 3rd ever made. Even if it was I'd still guesstimate the value around $300 max.

PROS
It is old, it is in great new condition, it includes all of the paper work.

CONS
It is a bowling ball. It is rubber.

Urethane and reactive bowling balls that are in this condition fetch a higher price because if drilled they can be very usable. This ball will roll, it will knock over pins all the same. It just will be ugly in the process.
…… you can't  add a physics term to a bowling term and expect it to mean something.

Christ, 5k for a bowling ball? When I stopped bowling, I got into collecting hockey and baseball jerseys. I could buy a game-worn jersey New York Rangers jersey from Steiner (with their ridiculously high prices) and get a popular player for that kind of money, and those things will only increase in value over time.
My hockey/baseball/football jersey collection:

I have a 2 fingered wooden bowling ball from the mid 1890's think might be a little more valuable than this...

I'm actually betting the ball wasn't even made by Brunswick, but by Ace. That number is not the individual serial number, but the model number. My old Ace Hard Rubber balls have the exact same serial number starting with " CL ". Every Ace of the same model  has the same serial number. I know this because a link I found of an Ace Supreme ball has a picture and it has the exact same Serial number as mine.

These are the first run LTs before they put JP's name on them...they originally were made for ether K-Mart or a wholesaler such as that and after they realized what the ball could do, they decided to market these along with JP'S, Tommy Hudson and Judy Soutar's name on them. They are somewhat rare (not. $5000 worth) as there were over 1.25 mil LT's with Petraglia's name on them
