Once again I've gone back on a plan. Now Im NOT goin to 14, just going to stay with light 15 because I can handle that. Second, I dont know if I want to go all storm now, because everyone is telling me its a bad idea! So, I've decided to just say F it and let you guys make something up for me! Something with 4 balls, as I have a triple x factor right now that is the right weight for me. (light 15). So make me up something pretty! The only thing I want is particle for heavy oil. I dont care what company, except lane 1! (cant afford it)
Heavy-
Medium/heavy/carrydown-
medium-Triple X Factor
medium/light-
light-
AND DONT START BUSTING ON ME CUZ I CANT MAKE UP MY MIND!!!! Its not my fault Im indecisive! So lets hear it, what would be the 'perfect' arsenal? A friend of mine was supposed to buy the triple x, and a guy on here offered me money for it to, but I decided to keep it.

i think you should spread you stuff out even though that isnt what i do each company has great qualities so heres what i think may be good with four balls
heavy something track rule or animal track balls flat out hook
med heavy then you prolly want a solid that can multiple areas needs to be a cg out with pin over ring finger or between fingers flash force maybe or super polished atomic chrage
med- triple xxx should work good
dry crisis pearl great ball get a long pin like 4 inches put the pin over ring finger and and keep the cg in palm and of you should get a little too much backend try a smaller deeper weight hole something 1/3/16 or smaller makes the ball go longer
--------------------
heres what i dont understand some guy in my league has been bowling this league for 5 year same league same house same shot why is there a need for EIGHT (8) yes i said eight bowling balls stevie wonder averages 235 at this place!!!!!!!
-
P.S Not only to Storm but to other bowling ball companies as well. And check on other bowlers reviews on which ones you decide on.I hate to see that you get one that you may not like.
-
Just for med-heavy or carrydown, the yeah baby I saw at a tournament was really good.
-
What do you guys think about maybe a Big Blue Pearl for medium heavy? and like, maybe an intense for medium light? How strong is the intense?

You're opening yourself up for some serious confusion. There's so much good equipment available. I have no Storm stuff but have heard they do an excellent job of separating their equipment line so the balls aren't too close together if you know what I mean. I have 8 balls right now that are all supposedly very different but differences are subtle, not dramatic like I'd prefer. They are 5 Tracks, an Ebonite and 2 Brunswicks, all drilled different w/ different surfaces, similar reactions. On a scale of 1 - 10 in aggresiveness w/ 10 being most, they're supposed to be from 5 - 10 but are more like 7 - 8.5. I'll be the one NOT recommending any equipment to you, just wish you luck.

and maybe a chrome yellow power groove for light? And thanks halloffamer, for your input.

This is hijacking the post a bit...but how on earth are you going to afford 4-5 new balls at your age?

4 new ones, and I figure I'll be fine between x-mas money, present, and selling/trading what I have now.

LOL, yeah, I was wondering why the UI was in that spot too. I also thought the Nemesis could go in the Medium spot? I dunno.

Go with one company. Go with Track. Nuff said.

Evolutionary. Revolutionary.

I would suggest the following, based on what I have seen recently:
Heavy - Brunswick Goliath (or, for real floods, Swamp Monster)
Medium Heavy Carrydown - Track Rule
Medium - Triple xxx
Medium Light - Power Groove Reactive (with a good drilling)
Light - Barbed Wire (or XXL from Lane 1 if really fried!)
BUT!!! I would say it depends on your stats, and the skill of your ball driller. The power grooves seem to be stronger than just a light oil ball, but that does seem to depend on drilling.

Reality Is.......Working out how to carry the 10, only to start leaving the 7.

well, i would suggest lessons, but since you asked for an arsenal (which i think you just asked for a few months ago), here it goes:
Heavy: weapon of mass bias drilled 4 x 2 (pin to pap, mb to pap), prolly needs a weighthole
Medium-heavy: Ultimate inferno drilled 5 x 5, pin up, little bit of polish needed.
Medium: flashpoint drilled 5 x 3, weighthole on pap
light-sonic x pearl: 6 1/2 put cg in grip center, pin up
Should cover anything you are going to see, I might throw in a ball inbetween sonic x and flashpoint, but thats about the only place i see open.

If I could take lessons, I would! I want to really badly. There just isnt anywhere around here to do so.
And yea, I asked about setting an arsenal up a bunch of times, just never did it.

animal
rule
xxxfactor
crunch time
chrome power groove
i have not used any of these but if i wanted new stuff i would go something like this
--------------------
if you are throwing bad, throw bad with a different ball
-
The Xcel particle 14# has a differential of 0.075! With that high of a differential (and if you track high), you could probably track the whole ball...I think it would be a great heavy oil ball to try out.
A great mid-price heavy oil ball is the Goliath.
IMHO, I'd choose one company and stick with it to help avoid any overlapping. Track and Brunswick appeal to me; however, if I were you, I'd go with a company that fits your style well. Some people match up a lot better to some companies than others. A lot of companies have a variety of balls that will cover most of the lane conditions so whichever you choose, I'm sure you'll have a great selection and you'll be happy with what you end up getting. Just my $5.00

*SCREAMS* AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! So many people are telling me different things. Now Im hearing I SHOULD go all one company, some say I shouldnt. I think if I go all one company its gonna be Brunswick now. After closer review they have a lot of stuff that is appealing to me. So, I guess you should set me up a Big B arsenal then! As long as it includes an intense and chrome yellow power groove.

If Big B is what you'd like:
Heavy - Goliath / Ultimate Inferno
Med-Heavy/carrydown - Nemesis / Original Inferno
Medium - Original Inferno / Intense Inferno
Medium/Light - Punisher
Light - Highly polished Chrome Yellow Power Groove
Good luck!

I have shot great third games with the UI if I throw it hard enough but with pain in my lower palm and wrist I need to cut down my speed, that's where the polish comes to play.

If you go all brunswick, get a wmb for heavy, as this is the best heavy ball out right now, and it has a brunswick cover. heres your brunswick arsenal:
WMB drilled 4 x 2
ultimate drilled 4 by 4
nemesis drilled 5 by 5
punisher drilled 4.5 by 3
and i still think you should get a sonic x pearl drilled 6 by whatever, pin in grip center, otherwise, powergroove, although i think it's too strong personally.

No need for all those balls BK. Buy ONE ball made by TRACK, and that will be all the arsenal you will ever need!
