Are there waiters in your league?

Some centers have them, some don't.  The last league I bowled in had one lonely ol'd lady walking around getting beer orders.  The bartender was terribly slow and too younf to know how to make any real drinks (cosmo anyone?).

So, out of curiosity... does your center provide wait staff for you?  Or do you have to get up and get your frozen strawberry twist pina colada with a kiwi slice?

Tuesday we're on our own.

Wednesday, bar has a waitress. Snack bar does not.

Thursday - same center as Wednesday - none.

Some of the AMF houses have both - available during all hours. I like that!

I bowl in a 20 lane house that has 1 waitress per 10 lanes. Fairly quick,accurate most of the time(occasionally get Bud Lite instead of Miller Lite or vice versa) and they do get to know you and remember what you and your team want.
 The bartenders are pretty good for those that want the off the wall drinks(what WAS that you asked for ,mumzie?)

My house has just the barmaid (16 lanes below, 8 above).
Sunday mornings are killer because we have to wait til noon for alcohol , at 10 min til 12 she starts taking orders and if it takes too long I have to run to the bar for relief...

Nope, no waiters/waitresses. Theres someone at the snack bar about 95% of the time, and certain days of the week, and certain times the bar is open. You can buy bottles of beer at the snack bar though.

The place I bowled actually server Killian's Red beer on tap.  Mmmm!

Then mid season they stopped carrying it.  They replaced it with Coors.  What the hell is wrong with those people?!!!

The bowling alley I go to mainly has GSR's usally for a full house they will have four of them (32 lanes). There is good service the bartenders are fairly fast. All the people that work there are friends of mine with the exception of a cook and a bartender.

Boardwalk Bowl in Orlando would spoil any of you guys.  They have at least 3 "waitress" it seems on at all times.  They come around with hand held ordering devices, like a palm pilot.  They can order you food from the snackbar or drinks from the bar from this device.  They might even be able to slide your credit card on it.  League bowlers and late night recreation bowlers love it.  And most of the waitresses are pretty attractive.

We have a 20 team league in a 36 lane house with a competent waitress and bartender.   The bar also sells pitchers of beer at a discount price for it's league bowlers (not just domestic beer, either).  Also our snack personnel will delivery you food to your lanes!

Overall, it ca't get any better than that.
