1 Ball Tournament
« on: October 15, 2008, 11:35:33 AM »
Discussion came up about a 1 ball tournament crossing the PBA patterns which ball would you use. My thought was a Columbia Rival, Storm Sure Fire, or old reliable Hammer Blue Vibe(polish removed ofcourse). What would your choice be? This is a tournament I would like to see happen.

Twisted Fury would be an easy first, then my Absolute Inferno.

Dynothane Vendetta, I actually use it on my spares anyway because I can fan my hand out to make it go straight.

My pin under ring finger Frankie May Gryphon at 2.000 Abralon. Could get in trouble on Cheetah, but this should work well, and it is easy to control.
OOB Smash Zone might also be an option.

I used one ball almost exclusively in my PBA Experience league, a pin down Cell.  Predictable, controllable, and good carry.

I would have to go with my X-Calibur.

My T-Zone.

Angle into the 1-3, pick up the spare. Repeat.

I'd go with a Gravity Shift or my old El-Nino Gold.
