California State Tournament
« on: April 19, 2007, 07:59:08 AM »
I wanted to find out if anyone on ballreviews will be bowling or has bowled the California State Tournament this year? I will be there on Memorial Day weekend and I wanted to get a feel for the bowling alleys, the lane pattern and the area in general.

Any information is greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
DW

I haven't been able to get a team together for the last few.  I will be bowling the Women's in San Diego Mother's Day Weekend.

will be going in late june, but if it is like the last few, just an easy house shot.  the baggers will shoot big numbers and the high average players will complain.  enjoy the casino and bowl the masters.  as far as i know, the baggers do not have an advantage in the casino and they don't usually dare to enter the masters.

Don't feel bad, I can't find anyone to bowl with me either.

The guys I bowled with 2 moved out of CA and the other one quit bowling when his son turned 2.

Hmmmm maybe we could con enough to get a team for next year.

I haven't been the last few years. I had a bad experience in Sacremento with the tournament director so I took a couple of years off. I got talked back into it this year. I'll bowl the masters, beat up the casino and get back home.

P.S. WHY OROVILLE???
