1st day back

Picked up a couple of used balls, had new slugs put in and hit the lanes. Alleys were a little busy and I got a lane right next to a show off. Shot 101 the first game. Would have best the little show off if she hadn't been using bumpers. Was using a Columbia burst. Just too much ball

Switched to track 508a 2d game and shot 171 & 169. Surprisingly my left leg held up for me. Still can notice the hesitation but think I might be able to compensate for that.

All in all, not a bad day. Course if I hadn't prepayed for 3 games would probably have quit after the 1st game.

Thanks for all the encouraging words. Got to meet another BR member too. Think he was #588. Been away so long not sure where my list is

Great start back! Hope you enjoy your experiences again. I found out on my return, my ball speed was down, do to hesitations on the approach, not being able to slide, etc. Got a Shout, and with equipment not "flying" off the lane, and getting some confidence on the approach, the game is coming around.

Sr, be patient, and find some guys that just enjoy the game to bowl with. Good luck, and carry the corner pins!
