Actually,  some guy named Glenn did it first with a Yellow Dot...

On the second shift....In a scratch league...

As I remember, no one else on that shot scored over 700...

Yet his score was not approved.....

just so you know

So now what? Frequent perfection has been established. When is enough? This would be like having 3 holes in 1 in a row? Has that ever been done? Is it likely? Is the scoring pace going up too much?

With Mushtare on that list bowling will never "see" respectability.

Yeah Glenn Allison I think was his name.  I think they did an article on him when the "very first" 900 was shot.

Anyone notice the typo? 1st the author say's 14th and 15th respectively then later on in the article it's 13th and 14th. I counted the # of people in the list and there are 14 total including the 2 new member's BUT Mr. pre-bowl 900 has 2 on that list, so technically, to me that mean's these guy's are the 14th and 15th. Just sayin!

I don't expect to ever do that in my life time, I'd be happy enough with an 800 set.

I guess they're just trying to make up for that first 100 years when NOBODY EVER shot a 900.

It is sad that things have changed so much that 900 is an actual possibility in peoples minds. 900 needs to be a fantasy, an impossible dream for people to chase, not something that is beginning to be in the realm of believable possibility.

Not even CLOSE to having 3 hole-in-ones in a row.  If I had to guess I would say there are less people that have had 2 hole-in-ones in a round than people that have thrown a 900.

Glen's wasn't the first denied.

There were 2 or 3 others at least in the past that were not considered ligit.

And people wonder why I quit bowling. Not trying to take anythign away from these 2 guys, becasue they still had to throw the ball, but soft conditions and technology, as well as Mushtare have ruined bowling.

Its all in what you want to make of it. The chances of most people shooting 900 are very slim. So forget the others and worry about yourself. Try beating your high series not theirs. There are still plenty of places that are tough to score on.

…… you can't  add a physics term to a bowling term and expect it to mean something.

You make good points but in some respects bowling has lost things that it can not get back or will take a long time to get back.
