Do you read over your posts?
« on: February 23, 2008, 02:04:50 AM »
Since so many of the posts we see and read on BR.com have misspelled words and poor grammar, one wonders if the posters read over their posts prior to sending them.

Also, if a red line appears under a word that means that the spell-checker suspects it might be spelled incorrectly. You can than right-click on that word and receive corrections/suggestions for the word.

When you are done typing your post, read it as though you were reading it for the first time, and make corrections as applicable prior to posting.

This is not to start a flame war or pick on any specific poster but to offer suggestions for easier reading.

I have no red line indicating possible misspelled words. That would be handy!

Take your own advice. "Than" does not fit in the above sentence. Then would be correct.

You are absolutely correct!!! That's what happens when you rely too much on the spell checker and read too fast.  Caught in my own trap.

Try reading on of CBB's posts. I still don't know why he capitalizes every other word. Some people on here sure do butcher the English language.
