I was there as well and was an assume event. You had to watch the bowling on the score board, but it is 70 yards long so not much of a problem. There was no commentary to hear, but best I remember there isn't at PBA events either when you are at the taping. Lynda looked like it was here day before that one bad shot on the fill ball cost her the win against Leanne. From what we could see Kelly was not deep enough from the start and that certainly worked against here getting comfortable. The last couple frames she finally moved left of 20 and started striking, which was where Leanne played the entire match. They were popping shots of the lanes up on the screen the entire event and you could see the carrydown starting to form from the end of match one and by the third game it was affecting ball reactions. Leanne had the power to go around that puddle where Linda had problems late in the game with a pair of 10 pins that were likely caused by that carry down. Lynda had also pulled something in her arm in practice, but that seemed to help until the end of her last game.
It was an event that I am glad to have seen. I was also at the final Quaker State and one of the first stadium type events the PBA ran and remember it having a lot of energy as well as other PBA events I managed to go to the taping, but nothing even close to this. Don't know how anyone can top this one.
