I had a ball they said no to at the Pete which was 16.01...i doubt they'd let in a 20 lb. ball

Good idea placing metal in the bowling ball. No one would ever know and your carry percentage would be higher.

Hey - he's only charging $25 to ship it. So - either he's losing money, or those other guys are charging way too much at $32 a ball!
