Green scotchbrite pad HELP!!!!
« on: November 08, 2004, 02:51:31 AM »
I need a little help.I own a Storm Ace. I clean it with a microfiber towel after every frame and I clean it with Storm's reactive clean after I am done my set.I started losing tackiness so I have gone to Storm's MegaBite. It worked for a little while but now it seems dead.I have only thrown about 75 games on it so I don't want to resurface it yet.I have talked to a Storm Rep.He told me I needed to get the ball back to box factory finish. He suggested to use a scotchbrite pad.He said that the  scotchbrite pad is used to stand the particles back up in the ball.Where can I get the pads at?Should I do it on a ball spinner or can I get away with doing it at home? What direction should I use it ?Should I go circular,up and down?Do you think that this is my best option ?Thanks for helping!!!!

GREEN pads are available ALMOST everywhere - AUTO parts stores or MOST major DEPT stores like KMART or WALMART.

SPINNER is the BEST way but COULD be done by HAND.  Any DIRECTION, just be CONSISTANT.

Best OPTION?  Since the STORM Rep said to do it, it MUST be.
