5 step to 4 step advice
« on: January 31, 2010, 01:23:12 AM »
So I am currently having problems with my swing be not so consisent.  I get to the top of my swing and some times it keeps going higher, open up my hand, and/or break my wrist.  I have been thinking of going to a 4step approach in hopes that it will give less chance of these things happening.  Any advice?

If you're swing is inconsistent I would think it would be more related to your pushaway.  If you muscle the ball into the swing you will have a harder time being consistent at the point where gravity is doing all of the work.  Shortening the approach might help, but it also might make it worse because you are moving things quicker you will muscle it more.

Try letting the ball "fall" into the swing from your pushaway, this might help make your backswing more consistent.
