I loved the LT-48 Gold.  I think it had the Danger Zone cover (powrkoil 18) on it and the Rhino LE core.  Probably a lot like the Karma solid of today.

They were all popular balls in their time, but they are only worth what someone is willing to pay for them.

Tell your pro shop owner to ebay those old classics for the highest profit possible. Most local bowlers shy away from the older balls unless it was someones ultimate favorite ball of all time which is most likely not going to happen. Just some thought for ya. Also yeah, get some pics!!

That Storm Thunder might have some hazing on the surface, the only Thunder Storm made was a Black Thunder. Released Jan. 5th 1996.

The Brunswick LT-48 Gold, there was 2 different ones. A gold pearl and a gold solid. The LT-48 Gold Solid was released on May 1st 1997, the Pearl version was released May 1st 1998.

As for the Quantum, there are to possible candidates. Quantum Blue Denim or the Quantum Slate Blue. The Blue Denim was released Nov. 1st 1999. The Slate Blue was released Aug. 1st 1999.

Those Quantum balls are very very strong rolling balls. I've had both of them and even with weak layouts they hooked a TON! Found myself not using them all to much, great balls for the heavier oil sport shots though. Never used the LT-48 Gold but there's a couple guys on my wednesday night league that are still using that ball with moderate success. And for the Storm Thunder, I haven't seen one of those in 10 years!

I have a heavy 14# LT48 Gold pearl, and it is STILL, all that and a bag O' chips! Very good ball for medium conditions these days. That powerkoil cover and Rhino core was da shiznit!

Quantum balls will always be keepers in my book, because of their strong rolling nature.

I know nothing about that Sorm piece however. Good luck with those. I think you have some real gems there!

Loved that thunder storm what a great series that was! The blue thunder came next then the thunder road, and so begans the early road series! The thunders were all black to black with grey/white swirls.
