Bowling and Athletes
« on: December 20, 2007, 10:05:12 AM »
Today I subbed in a scratch trio.  When we were in the last game, a high school
bowling match began.  There were 8 teams, both JV and Varsity, boys and girls.
I watched them for awhile and observed that a very small minority of them are
even close to being physically fit.  I know that bowlers are not necessarily
athletes.  It should be very embarrassing to Americans as to what has happened
to the physical fitness of our youth.  Physical Education programs should have
more emphasis in schools.

Lol our PE system in High School was a joke. If you weren't playing a sport you didn't get any exercise.
