I think last week I had 27 or 28 and shot 688.  Big strings in all 3 games.  A few wide open splits ruined a nice day.  231-226-231.  I threw at least 8 strikes in all 3 games and my high was 231?  LOL.  Welcome to the modern game of scoring (*), er, I mean bowling.

There is doing in not doing what you weren't doing but doing in what you weren't doing to do what you were doing but not doing and doing as well

So don't do it!

Stanski: I can relate. I shot 662 last week (236-243-183) with 24 strikes but I had 5 easy spare misses in 3 games....it's one thing when you miss a 7 pin if you are lefty once in a while, but I missed a 9 pin in game one and I think I do that 1 out of every 100 times...

I had a little different situation.  I had a clean night, and didn't shoot 590.  Unfortunately, I only had 4 strikes on the left lane all night long.

I've bowled quite a few tournaments on sport shots, but no one around here will put them out for league.  I know I won't shoot lights out on any sport shot anytime soon, but it's frustrating when you throw that many quality shots (I can only speak for myself, on the particular night mentioned) and not shoot a big set.
