Nope didn't bowl one yet...  but I went bowling last night and the lady at the counter asked if we wanted the house shot or pba shot. Pba of course I said. I asked what pattern it was but no one seemed to know. So we get to the lanes and with no practice I shoot 208, 279, 277=764 first three games and stayed around 210 the rest of the night. I will admit we were only using one lane because it was only two of us. But had I shot a 300, could I have given myself an ol at-a-boy!? if I had to pick a pattern it played most like I would say the scorpion, And I know that houses that try to duplicate pba patterns are easier but after last night I'm feeling pretty good about my game. Last season I avg 205.

Yeah, I'd say so.  Everybody's first 300 is a big deal for them, whether it's practice or league or what.  There might have been a shot grooved in already, but that's no different from pros working one in.  Yeah, might have been practice, might have been one lane, might have been a lot of things.  I still say that no matter what, at the very least, practice honor scores help your confidence and focus.  It doesn't matter when you're going for your first one, you'll try just as hard no matter what.  Don't let people who say it doesn't count get to you.  Lol I don't think honor scores on a house shot really count anyway . .
