300 out of the box
« on: February 10, 2010, 08:49:49 PM »
How many of you have actually thrown a 300 game on the very first game with a new ball?  I'm amazed when I hear people say that.  I usually take a week or two to get used to a new ball before I can even bowl respectfully.  If you've done it, my congrats in advance.

I've seen it done twice...one of the instances I had literally finished drilling the ball, hit the surface with some polish quickly and handed it to my customer just as practice was ending so the first 12 shots of the ball's life were strikes...oh and he had an 857 with it that set too!

I have done it twice.  Once with the Black Crunch by Track and once with the Rattler about a year ago.

Twice for me also.
First time with a Yellow Dot Bleeder (shell so soft the jig clamps left an impression) and second time with a Lane 1 Silver Diamond.

Not done myself, but happened around here: the first Impulse Zone on German ground in hands of the local Brunswick test staff (namely Achim Grabowski) was greeted with a 300.

I don't think I've ever shot higher than 230 the very first game out of the box with a brand new ball. I need a couple weeks to get used to a ball and to get the surface where I like it usually...

I've done it 2x, once with the Original Storm Thunder, threw the first 21 in a row out of box in traveling league, then shot 300 first game out of box with Track Arsenal Angular Particle.

Sorry about the thread hijack, but the stroke is giving me one. Quit sending me private messages already as well. Looks like I have a stalker!

What a liar.  I have never sent a PM to you or anybody on this forum.  Go ahead and fabricate something.  I'm sure it would be hilarious.
