300 out of the box

How many of you have actually thrown a 300 game on the very first game with a new ball?  I'm amazed when I hear people say that.  I usually take a week or two to get used to a new ball before I can even bowl respectfully.  If you've done it, my congrats in advance.

I did it with my Twisted Fury Destruction. Drilled it, went to league and shot the 300. I threw it about twice during warm ups and wasn't sure about the reaction... (stupid bowler)

A buddy of mine has done it with a used Black Widow Pearl.  Can't remember any others though.

Had a customer shoot back to back 300's with his No Mercy Beat'n. Funny thing is he didn't shoot 800 that night (ended up w/797). He shot 84x with it 2 weeks later w/no 300

lets see not for me but had a original cell go 279 and then couldn't do much more with it after that, then had a team mate of mine get a gravity shift and shot 300 with it, like 780, and then i don't think he got over 660 with it any time after that, just weird

Well i didnt go 300 the first game but I went 836 (289) the first set I shot with Black Widow Solid.

My dad bought an Ebonite Black Ice and hated it after about 10 games, gave it to me, i got it redrilled and first game I had it, I went 300.

I'v never seen anyone shoot 300 1st game with their new ball. Best I've ever done with a new ball 1st game has been 279, I've done that 4 time's. Brunswick BVP Rampage, Brunswick Vapor Zone, Storm T-Road Pearl, and Track Synergy. I've seen a few guy's come very close though, 295-299 and a few guy's shoot 286-290. The difference to me is I was able to continue to shoot good score's of 245+ 3-4 year's later while I hear some people say they shot such and such high game with a ball and suddonly they can't seem to shoot with that ball. That to me make's no sense.

Didnt do it "out of box", but a friend let me throw one of his balls at the start of game 3 in league... I had never as much as put my hand in the ball, flushed each shot for my FIRST 300..

A friend of mine got his Bounty Hunter drilled up, then went out and threw the first 26 in a row. 300-300-24X for 84X out of the box.

 Best I've ever done was a 279 (9-, then struck out), and a 290 (9/, then struck out). Oddly enough, both times were with polyester balls (a yellow dot I bought and an AMF Boogie I borrowed). I did, however, shoot a 300 the first game I used a friends black HAMMER. After that, he gave it to me and I still have it.

Did it twice.. once with a columbia Icon that was a give away at the TAC one year.    Drilled it when I got home, 300 first game and not much after that.  Actually that  ball goes down as one of the worst balls I ever had drilled.  Enjoyed throwing that ball down the street.  The next was a Cuda/C pearl that was my team mates ball. His ball always fit me better than my stuff sometimes, LOL.  Threw a couple of shots in warm ups with it and I asked him if I could throw it.  Ended up shooting a 3 and a decent set with it.  Ended up with with 3 of those Cuda/C pearls... great great ball that was, at least for me.

First one was with a Hammer Real Deal

Second guy used a Black Widow Solid

Third guy used a Lane 1 Agent Orange
