Medium-Dry lanes ball choice
« on: February 12, 2010, 10:00:10 AM »
Hey guys,

I'm looking to get a new ball to handle the last game and a half of league.  I have a Storm Hyroad that I am using now and it starts cutting too hard as the night goes on.  I was thinking a Hammer Cherry Vibe, Roto-Grip Mars, or an AMF Hype.  Does anyone have positive experience with any of these?  I am also open to any other suggestions if someone has another option.  Thanks for your help.

Thanks for all the feedback guys.  I think I am going to go with the Cherry Vibe and have my driller put a weaker setup on it.  I just want to make sure I don't end up with another ball that is too close in reaction to my Hyroad.  Thanks again for all your help and suggestions.

Just food for thought, a weaker drilling is a vague term, if you do drill a weaker pin position and still go pin up it may be very angular and hard to control, but i'm sure you'll be able to consult with your driller and get things figured out.

Alright honestly if u have any hand at all the vibes are way to strong to be clean off the spot really what u would like is something like a razyr or something solid that won't go sideways on u maybe like a riot drilled rico but all in all the drilling makes the biggest difference try something pin axis otherwise with todays stuff everything is to much ball
