Let's not confuse this poor guy with pro pins. If you are a college student looking for a good deal on a quality ball, your best bet is getting a used one in good shape. You can find a high end ball usually for around $65.00 on Ebay, then just pay the extra to get it re-fitted to you. I've got one out there right now that's cheap!

I just bought an off-weight X-Factor from these guys for $89.95. With the $10 off in the ABC mag, it ended up being $79.95. The weight on this one was 15lb. 12oz. (2-2.5" pin, 2.78oz. top) -- just make sure you let them know what pin and top weight you want. If they have it, you'll get it. I don't really mind the heavy 15 -- I can throw a 16 if need be -- great way to try a top of the line ball for a great price!!
