I want to add some surface to my ball. I have a spinner. Do I use the spinner or just do it by hand?

Use the spinner for the initial adjustment. Then if you just want to touch it up before or after bowling, do it by hand. When that process stops giving the results you want, put it back on the spinner. -- JohnP
