Simple Green

How is the best way to use this for cleaning bowling balls?  I think someone said to make a mixture of 1 part simple green to 1 part alcohol.  Is this correct?  

By the way, this stuff is hard to find.  I went to Walmart, K-Mart, Target and several grocery stores before finding it at a Publix Grocery.

I use a three to one ratio. Three cups of alcohol and one cup of simple green. It works great. I had no problem finding it at Home Depot.

The ball is going to get all slimy after using simple green for awhile.
Just use it at home then use water to wash it off. Plenty of water.

I've used lane cleaner and hot water a few times.  Lately, I've used a capful of Super Clean, an industrial strength cleaning product, in a wash basin.  Honestly, hot water trickling into a bucket with the ball submerged will slowly take the oil away as the the oil rises to the surface of the water and, eventually, out of the bucket.
